Crude Oil Storage and Transfer Terminal – Port Lavaca, Texas

G&W Engineers provided full-service engineering for the development of a crude oil storage and transfer terminal located at the Port of Port Lavaca.

Scope of Work:

  • Design of large-scale crude oil storage tanks with integrated transfer systems
  • Engineering of truck unloading facilities with multiple bays and custody transfer systems
  • Development of marine dock systems for barge and ship loading and unloading
  • Design of high-capacity pumping systems and piping networks
  • Integration of tank farm manifolds and flow control systems

Crude Oil Terminal – Rail, Marine, and Truck Transfer Facility

G&W Engineers completed the engineering and design of a full crude oil terminal integrating rail, marine, and truck transfer operations.

Scope of Work:

  • Design of dual crude oil storage tanks with full transfer integration
  • Engineering of rail loading systems for crude oil distribution
  • Development of marine loading systems for barge transfer
  • Design of a truck terminal with ten loading bays
  • Integration of pumping systems, piping networks, and flow control systems

Chemical Storage and Transfer Terminal (NaHS)

G&W Engineers completed the full engineering and design of a chemical storage and transfer terminal for sodium hydrosulfide.

Scope of Work:

  • Design of chemical storage tanks and associated transfer systems
  • Engineering of railcar unloading facilities with multi-car capacity and heating systems
  • Development of truck loading facilities with multiple bays
  • Design of marine transfer systems with hose connections and flushing capabilities
  • Integration of insulated piping systems for chemical handling

  • Design of rail unloading system capable of handling up to 20 railcars simultaneously
  • Development of truck loading facilities for product distribution
  • Integration of pumping systems and piping networks
